The Registry Project will consist of three historical elements designed to capture and preserve the names and memories of individuals who served, worked or lived at El Toro MCAS. Project components include a virtual Online Registry, an interactive Registry Exhibit and a commemorative Wall of Honor. The Online Registry will be accessible via the internet. The Registry Exhibit and Wall of Honor will be permanent displays at the Orange County Great Park.

Successful registries have been implemented at other historical sites and museums including Ellis Island’s American Immigrant Wall of Honor, Pearl Harbor’s Memorial Registry and Wall of Valor, and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum’s Registry of Jewish Holocaust Survivors.
